Jattanssi was founded in Turku (Finland) on the International Dance Day (April 29th 2000) by dancer Jattamarie Rauhaluoto. Jattanssi is a platform for dance events, performances, workshops and classes.

Jattanssi offers both dance classes and dance workshops for all ages. A dance class is a one time event, where as a workshop includes several classes. Who is Jattanssi?
Jattamarie Rauhaluoto (born in 1977) is the founder of Jattanssi STUDIO (dance education) and Jattanssi Dance Company (dance performances). As a child and teenager Jattamarie was practicing rhythmic gymnastics and aesthetic gymnastics for more than 40 hours per week, which led to several Finnish Championships.
